Arcadia is at Olinda on top of Mt. Dandenong, 40 minutes from the Melbourne CBD and 60 minutes from the Airport via the new Eastlink extension.

Surrounded by National Parks and opposite the Rhododendron Gardens, Arcadia offers a perfect combination of intimate function rooms, accommodation, gardens, a dedicated Day Spa and catering options.

Off the busy Tourist Road and hidden away on 3 acres of forested gardens it is only 400 meters to the villages of Olinda and Mt. Dandenong with 10 restaurants to choose from. Arcadia is marked on the Melways street directory at map ref 66 J6

Arcadia’s two function rooms are The Loft and The Studio, both are served by a lounge/breakout area, kitchen and a bathroom.

The Loft is at treetop height with all around windows gazing into a forest of Oak, Beech and Mountain Ash. Ideally suited to smaller gatherings:- conferences, retreats, yoga groups and intimate weddings. Suitable for up to 8 people.

The Studio offers an intimate room with vaulted ceilings and excellent sound and light control. An ideal small room for music rehearsal, therapeutic treatments, or an office space to supplement the Loft. Suitable for up to 4 people.

Accommodation

Arcadia offers accommodation for couples in 4 separate cottages within the gardens (Channel 9 Getaway “Top 10 in Australia”). For larger groups (or added private accommodation) additional cottage or motel style accommodation is available within a 1 km radius.

Each cottage has a log fire and a conservatory. Three have spa baths and one has a cedar hot tub spa. Full Breakfast provisions are included in the cottage for you to enjoy when you are ready.

Tariffs for 2009 range from $185 to $265 per night mid week and $260 to $315 on weekends. Our web site can provide you with a full description and a tour of our cottages.
