Experience a real slice of Australia at Healesville Sanctuary, where you’ll see Australia’s native flora and fauna at their best!

The natural bush setting is home to koalas, kangaroos, emus, platypuses and more. Wander the tranquil bushland tracks, come face to face with some of the 200 animal species or hear amazing stories of animal rescue at the Sanctuary’s real life veterinary hospital, the Australian Wildlife Health Centre. Don’t miss the breathtaking Birds of Prey show, featuring Australian raptors such as the Wedge-tailed Eagle, Peregrine Falcon and Barking Owl.

Just over an hour from Melbourne, Healesville Sanctuary is one of Australia’s most acclaimed wildlife sanctuaries.

Healesville Sanctuary is open every day including Christmas Day and Public Holidays, from 9.00am to 5.00pm.

Train: From Flinders Street Station or Southern Cross Station.
Take the Lilydale line to Lilydale Station. Then take the Lilydale bus to Healesville Sanctuary. Day tours to Healesville Sanctuary depart from Melbourne every day.

 

 

Adventure into Coranderrk Eco-Tour

Come on a journey into the wild bushland of Coranderrk and uncover the treasure within. Adventure into Coranderrk is your chance to discover this unique untamed piece of Yarra Valley bushland, right on Healesville Sanctuary’s door step. Led by an experienced eco-ranger you’ll travel lightly on the land in an electric eco-train, walking to significant points of interest. Discover your inner conservationist, archeologist, ecologist or bird-twitcher as you learn new skills and discover the abundant plants and wildlife of this stunning natural ecosystem.

Prices include all day general admission to Healesville Sanctuary, Adventure into Coranderrk eco-tour and morning tea at the rustic Bush Hut.
