COUNTRY PLACE sits high in the Dandenong Ranges, in the Olinda State Forest with spectacular views of the Silvan Reservoir and Yarra Valley. Yet the venue is only 40 minutes from the Melbourne CBD and 60 minutes from the Airport via the new Eastlink extension.

Country Place is a dedicated conference centre where meetings are their business. With purpose designed, built and equipped venue for residential conferencing - they do them exceptionally well. This venue has a number of different conference and syndicate rooms for the smallest of groups to rooms for 80+ delegates.

This highly awarded venue is the only privately owned conference centre in Australia to achieve ISO 9002 Quality Certification and the first to meet the stringent membership of the International Association of Conference Centres. Facilities

The Panorama Centre at the Country Place comprises a large, modern, air conditioned conference room for up to 120 delegates with super bright projection for video and data, email/internet capability and provision for video conferencing. LAN connects the group between the conference, syndicate rooms and the facilitator’s office.

Conference room car access. A driveway leads up to the double external doors making access a breeze. This is a real benefit for loading and unloading gear. Exclusivity a major feature. Entry to the new facility, by key card, offers exclusivity of use. The Panorama Centre can provide sole use for residential groups of 40 delegates or more. This provides groups have their own conference room, syndicates, lounge, dining room and bar. The Panorama centre has car access and has been designed for special events like product launches and displays.

All five well equipped conference rooms at the Country Place offer excellent natural light and variable lighting controls, adjustable ergonomic chairs for all day comfort and wonderful views of the gardens, mountain forest and Yarra Valley.

Recreational / Experiential Facilities

To add that little bit of magic to your conference the Country Place provide your group with an extensive choice of very special events. For a memorable retreat try a Wine Maker’s dinner, do a drumming activity or dangle off a high rope. Or select from a Gourmet BBQ, Garden breakfast, Music Trivia Night, Puffing Billy Night Train, Murder mystery nights and much, much more.

The Country Place is set amongst a forest abound with native flora and fauna. A contemplative wander through the nearby trails will leave you refreshed and prepared for your next conference session. Or you may wish to enjoy a poolside drink in the company of colleagues, a game of tennis, or if time permits a round of golf at the scenic Olinda Golf Club, just minutes away.
